PT Mursmedic — Odoo Implementation for Multi-Company Control, Faster Approvals, and Integrated Manufacturing Reporting
Company Overview
PT Mursmedic is a healthcare services company in ASEAN that provides end-to-end solutions, covering product registration, distribution, and medical product manufacturing. Operating across multiple entities within a group, the company requires consistent governance, faster operational execution, and consolidated visibility across finance, approvals, inventory, and production performance.
Situation (Before Implementation)
Before implementing Odoo, many companies within the group operated without an integrated system. This created fragmented operational processes and made it difficult to consolidate financial reporting across entities. Approval workflows were handled manually, which slowed down execution and contributed to operational delays. In addition, manufacturing control and inventory management were not yet efficient, limiting real-time visibility into production activities and stock movement across the organization.
Challenges
PT Mursmedic needed to address four core issues:
- Many group companies did not yet have an integrated system.
- Difficulty consolidating financial reports across entities.
- Manual approvals caused operational delays.
- Manufacturing and inventory management were not efficient.
Odoo Solution Implemented
To unify group operations and strengthen control, Odoo was implemented with integrated modules and supporting tools:
- Multi-Company Setup for Cross-Entity Management. Odoo Multi-Company was implemented to manage operations across multiple companies under one system, enabling consistent governance while supporting entity-level processes.
- Multi-Approval Module to Accelerate Approvals. A Multi-Approval workflow was implemented to speed up approvals, improve traceability, and reduce operational bottlenecks caused by manual approval handling.
- Manufacturing Module for Production Process Control. The Manufacturing module was implemented to strengthen production control, improve process visibility, and support more structured manufacturing execution.
- Dashboard Ninja for Integrated Reporting Across Entities. Dashboard Ninja was used to provide consolidated reporting for all entities, improving management visibility and enabling faster decision-making based on integrated operational and financial views.
Result
With Odoo, PT Mursmedic transitioned from fragmented systems to a unified multi-company platform. Financial consolidation became easier, approval processes became faster and more traceable, and manufacturing plus inventory operations gained stronger control through structured workflows. Integrated dashboards further improved reporting visibility across all entities—supporting more efficient operations and scalable group governance.
