Daya Dimensi — Improving Timesheet Discipline, Part-Timer Billing, and Accounting Compliance
Company Overview
Daya Dimensi is an HR consulting and leadership development firm and the official representative of Development Dimensions International (DDI). The company has supported transformation initiatives for more than 300 organizations and over 20,000 executives through services such as talent management, assessment centers, coaching, and leadership development. With service delivery driven by consultant and facilitator productivity, accurate work-time tracking and structured financial recording are critical to ensure operational clarity and reliable billing.
Situation (Before)
As service activities expanded, Daya Dimensi faced operational inefficiencies around time and cost tracking. Employee timesheet management was not yet well organized, making it difficult to maintain a consistent record of work effort across assignments. Tracking real working hours and managing timesheet-based billing submissions for part-timers also became challenging, which created delays and reduced visibility into billable activity. On the finance side, transaction recording had not fully followed accounting standards, limiting accuracy and increasing effort in financial reconciliation and reporting.
Challenges
Daya Dimensi needed to address three primary issues:
- Employee timesheet management was not well organized.
- Difficulty tracking real working hours and handling timesheet billing submissions for part-timers.
- Financial transaction recording was not yet compliant with accounting standards.
Solution Implemented (After)
To strengthen operational execution and improve financial discipline, Daya Dimensi implemented an integrated approach linking task assignment, activity reporting, and billing control:
- Part-Timer Task Structuring Based on Business Needs. Tasks for part-timers were structured and assigned based on operational requirements, ensuring clear scope and measurable delivery.
- Activity Reporting Through Assigned Tasks. Work activities were reported through assigned tasks, improving visibility into progress, time allocation, and accountability.
- Vendor Bills for Part-Timer Payment Tracking. Vendor bills were used as a structured mechanism to track and manage part-timer payments—supporting clearer billing control and improving traceability.
Result
By organizing work into structured tasks and linking activity reporting to assignments, Daya Dimensi improved discipline and visibility over work execution. The use of vendor bills as a payment tracking mechanism strengthened control over part-timer billing and improved traceability. Together with more structured financial recording, these improvements supported more consistent operations and better alignment with accounting practices.
